Buy Rug Uk
In Uk How much does it cost to buy all the Horse Equipment?

Including:
Halter
Weekly Hay
Saddle soap
Grain/Chaff ect.
Farrier
Clipping(Hunter Clip)
Rugs
Trailer
Boots
Haynet

The averages will be fine, im Just wondering if inheritance will be enough to cover this. ( As well as horse, tack and other bits) And vetting ( Which i can contact my nearby vets.)

Depends on what you want and if you want it new.

Head collar, 15 quid
Bridle = 50 -200 quid
Hayledge = 24-28 quid a round bale, last about 2 weeks maybe a shade more for 1 horse. smaller horses eat less, or you can get square bales for 3-6 quid, lasts about 3-4 days.
Saddle – 200 – 1500 quid, soap a fiver.
Feed = depends, if chop and nuts, say 25-30 quid a month, grains, beet root, performance feed, gonna cost more.
Shoes = 30 -50 quid every 4 to 5 weeks
Clippers = 150 quid for a decent pair, then do it yourself, sharpening 30 quid.
Clipped, depends on horse, 30 – 50 quid a clip.
Rugs – 30- 100 quid, depending on the rug. But you will want at least 2 maybe 3, depending on winters and stabling and if your horse is clipped duriong winter months
Trailer – I have a single Ifor williams for sale 1800 quid, in excellent5 nick. New, well up to 10000, depending.
Boots ( for you) 30 – 300 quid for hacking and training, competition boots (dressage) 300 – 700 quid.
Travelling boots (for horse) 40 – 60 quid
Haynet = 3 quid, but you will want a few.
Insurance = depends on coverage. Tenner a month basic.
Stabling= DIY = 10-20 quid a week, full board 50-75 quid a week, maybe more now.

Vet bills, if it needs to go to Lee Hurst 3000 – 10000 or more. In general 300 – 1000 quid a year. Insurance is worth it.

Wormer, get it off the internet for cheap, or 10 quid every 3 months if you send in a sample to see if you need to worm. If you have good field maintance and good grazing, you will save a lot as you will not need to worm nearly as often.

I have 5, 4 or which live at home, and I don’t look at the monthly tally(wife takes care of it, I just pay), but it’s in the region of 1000 quid a month.
