How to keep a rug laying flat on the carpet?
I have a large Oriental rug that is on wool Berber carpet. I can not do so flat … remains until clusters. This was not a problem in my old apartment where he had hardwood floors, but in the mat that keeps happening. Any advice?
Double sided tape works very well. The carpet in the carpet is a great idea, but doable. You can find double-sided tape at hardware and put it back where one side adheres to the carpet and the other adheres to the carpet. Velcro also works well, but would have to "screw down" the Velcro on the floor and turn the top of the carpet. Try double sided tape, and if nothing else, duct tape is the answer. Ugly, but it works.
