Tabriz rugs are known for the large number of colors used in one piece. and usually have intricate patterns with small and intricate details. Most Tabriz rugs have a medallion in the center medallion and neighborhoods in the corners (Shah Abbasi, islimi, or a combination of both), but there are some who may have geometric patterns simple floral motifs predominate, with vases, palmettos and hunting scenes near the shore. The diversity is immense, however, some employers are rare and can only be found in private collections or as family assets.
