To tell the difference between an authentic hand made Persian Rug and the machine is not always easy. Today, one can find in the market for machine made rugs that resemble the authentic in design, in name and feeling.

One thing you should know, machines do not do knots. put the wool fiber in place and then back to secure them with latex. This results in a rough surface to the touch. But today, the stores complete with machine-made carpets with names like "Kashan, Tabriz, Kashmar, etc ", with designs and colors that match the names.
